1983 — The Huntington Group
The Huntington Group was established in 1983. That family business is the starting point of Huntington International’s heritage. The connection between the two names is central to the company today, as its history is carried forward under a renewed public identity.
The scale of the work
Since 1983, the cumulative value of deals handled totals $5.82 billion, adjusted for inflation. The figure describes transaction value handled across the company's history. Its work reaches more than 70 countries. Alongside this reach are significant government relationships and commercial relationships with manufacturers, suppliers, and buyers—the different parties whose requirements shape international trade.
Today — Huntington International
The business is being revived as Huntington International, with Huntington International Group as its full business name. Its present focus is practical: help governments and businesses assess requirements, identify qualified suppliers, compare proposals, and negotiate international transactions. The company also represents manufacturers and suppliers seeking sales to foreign governments and companies, acting for the client that appoints it.
A defined direction for the revival
Telecommunications, oil, aviation, and automotive are the four industry areas around which this work is organized. Africa, Asia, and the Middle East are priority markets. U.S. and European partners are central to the telecommunications sourcing model, contributing technology, equipment, and services appropriate to a client's requirements. Technical and regional specialists support assignments where their expertise is needed.
Building the next chapter
The intention is to recruit specialists in international trade, international relations, regional markets, and the company's industries. Current services concentrate on procurement and representation, while planned expansion areas remain distinct. The next chapter begins with a specific client requirement and a clear understanding of the work Huntington is appointed to undertake.
